In RP, the focus is not on manipulating the breath but on using it as a portal to access subtle awareness and inhabit the internal space of the body more fully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Somatic Breathing with Realization Process As A Guided Practice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>How to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1) Settle into stillness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sit or lie down in a quiet space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soften and be patient to let your body rest into gravity feeling the contact with the ground or chair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let your breath come and go naturally. No forcing, no strain, and with less effort.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2) Attune to the internal space of your body<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bring your awareness inside your body, not just noticing sensations on the surface, but<br>inhabiting the internal space. So you can feel your own presence within the internal space of your body.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Feel yourself within your torso, pelvic bowl, chest, spine, head, arms, and legs, with no gaps a continuous unified internal space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3) Let the breath move through the whole body<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Notice the subtle movement of breath, not just in the lungs but throughout the whole internal space of the body.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let it feel as if your breath is gently infusing your body, as if your whole body is breathing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soften any effort, loosen the grip on controlling your breath. Just experience and feel the breath moving through the body\u2019s internal space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4) Soften into the breath<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The inhale is a filling up and the exhale is a letting go. Don\u2019t move with your breath but remain stable within your body and feel your breath move through you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Release holding or tension, held with thin the body maybe in the diaphragm, the jaw, or the pelvis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5) Attune to fundamental consciousness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attune to the quality of stillness or spaciousness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is not about \u201cdoing\u201d breathwork but about \u201cbeing breathed\u201d by the intelligence of the body within the spacious field of consciousness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6) Rest in the breath and presence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stay with this feeling: you, breathing, embodied, aware, not
