Pilates Studio Circuit Class

This class introduces you to the Pilates Apparatus. After a quick introduction to the Pilates Reformer, Trapeze Table, Combo Chair and Mini Arc you will be taken through a circuit style class in which you will be able to use all of the state-of-the-art Pilates apparatus, to gain a full body movement and workout experience.

This class is suitable for anyone with basic Pilates experience and who is injury free. If you do suffer from an injury or a health condition please contact Kristin to discuss your options first.

Evening Mat Pilates - 8 Week Block

This is a weekly mindful, mixed ability, mat-based Pilates class to keep you feeling mobile and strong and to teach you how to move well and healthily.

Each class offers a gentle full body workout at a pace that keeps you relaxed. Sometimes we will add small props like foam rollers, mini balls, bands, and light weights to our practice to offer you a rich movement experience both for your brain and body. There will always be options for you to modify an exercise to the right level for you. The group will be small with no more than 6 participants, meaning lots of individual attention to ensure great quality of movement.

If you are experiencing pain, are managing an injury or health condition you will usually be required to attend a 1-1 session first. Equally, if you are new to Pilates you may be required to attend an "Introduction to Pilates Fundamentals" class or a 1-1 session to teach you the Pilates fundamentals first. This ensures high-quality content in the group class and better results, as you will understand the directions and exercises better and therefore are able to execute the exercises more precisely.

When you sign up for the 6-week block for this class you will also be entitled to a 20% discount on any 1-1 Movement/Coaching or Manual Therapy sessions with me during the time of the block. You will also gain access to a private Facebook Group and Vimeo Account where you will find weekly videos, talking you through an exercise or exercise sequence in detail so you can practice at home if you choose to.

You also have the option to drop into this class if there is availability for £12 per class. Please contact me if you would like to drop in.

Release and Restore - The Myofascial Mobilisation Class

This popular class will mobilise and relax your socks off. You will be guided through some simple breathing and relaxation exercises to calm your system, find focus and tune into the state of your connective tissue. We often believe our muscles to be tight and try to stretch them off. Yet we do not seem to get much effect from all the stretching. Most of the time it is actually the fascia that our muscles are wrapped up in that is tight and inflexible and makes us feel stiff, achy and immobile.

This class will take you through a range of release and mobilisation exercises that will reach and target your connective tissue in ways you never have been able to with conventional stretches and exercises. You will find these movements and releases comfortable, satisfying, relaxing. Afterwards you will feel powerfully different as you experience a much healthier state of your connective tissue all around and through your body.

Yoga For Anxiety

Yoga for Sports is not supposed to be a conditioning class or meant to be athletic yoga. These are gentle classes to work on imbalances that can cause injury and pain. These are slow classes with focus on balance. Balancing one side of the body with the other, this can be left with right, front with back and top with bottom and also balance work with relaxation. 

More postures will be on the floor then will be standing. And as all postures are basic ones these classes are suitable for beginners.
