About Mindshift Coaching
Based on a blend of the 3 Principles of Mind, Consciousness, and Awareness, the coaching programme consists of 10 to 12 one-to-one sessions. The sessions are structured around sets of free-ranging questions to enable you to explore any and every aspect of life, work, relationships – or whichever area of your world is out of kilter.
You will find yourself thinking differently about situations. You will understand that it’s not what’s going on around you that pulls you out of shape, but rather the way you think about those situations and circumstances You will learn that you can experience a full range of feelings without your own innate stability and feelings of “okayness” being destroyed.
You will start to see things for what they are, as you expand your awareness of what is truth and what is simply an invention of your mind.
Nobody was born afraid, sad or angry. We’ve adopted these reactions during our own lifetime. You can reset your mind to automatically change your life, and it happens organically, with little effort on your part.

Mindshift Coaching at The Body Matters
Something that I believe is often true is that when someone asks for help, the thing that they believe is causing them a problem is not usually the thing that is causing them a problem! For example, if someone says they can't stop eating chocolate or they're drinking too much wine every day, or they're spending too much money on things they don't need, then we have to look past the unwanted behaviour and find out what's causing it. This is where life coaching or mindshift coaching comes into its own.
It helps you get to the source of the pain rather than trying to just make the symptoms disappear.
My 12-week coaching programme asks you all the right questions, whilst helping you to quieten down the noisy, unhelpful thoughts constantly battling for attention in your head. By the end of it you will be much clearer about any changes you want to make, big or small.
If life is already good but there's just a couple of things that stop it being perfect, you might want a session of Hypnotherapy or NLP. These can be quick fixes for fears, anxiety or phobias, or can make a big difference if you want to stop smoking, defy cravings, or need a confidence or self-esteem boost.
For any of these therapies to be really effective, two things are vital. Firstly, you have to be sure that you are ready to let go of whatever it is that's bugging you and, secondly, we need to know that we can work well together.
For those reasons, I like to have a chat with you initially for about 20 minutes. There's no charge for that. Then if you want to go ahead, we will meet in my garden office in Leigh or get together over Skype. At that point, we will work on whatever you have decided to fix, with either a standalone session of Hypnotherapy or NLP (or sometimes a combo) or the first of the 12 weekly coaching sessions.
